One of our primary goals is preparing players to compete and succeed at the college level. We do this by selecting coaches who have played or coached at the collegiate or professional level. Additionally, we schedule competition with teams we know will push our players to improve their own skills. Lastly, through our educational seminars we provide players and families with the information they need to make smart choices regarding college recruiting.
Coast to Coast currently has alumni playing at every level of college baseball.....and even professionally. The following C2C alums have been selected during the MLB Draft or signed a pro contract.

Anderson Looking For His Chance With Cards
2009-04-08

Coast to Coast alum, Bryan Anderson, of Thousand Oaks, California spent spring training with the Cardinals Major League club this year. It is the 21 year old's second taste of big league camp. Anderson and four others were sent back to minors (March 23) as camp drew to a close.
Touted as one of the Redbirds top prospects, Anderson's meteoric rise through the Cards minor league ranks has stalled at the Major League level behind one of the game's best backstops in Yadier Molina. A perennial contender for the National League All-Star team, Molina expects to be the St. Louis catcher for the near future. For now, Anderson will bide his time in AAA Memphis where he finished the 2008 season.
During 2008, Anderson split time between AA Springfield and AAA Memphis, hitting .308 for the season. He carries a .306 minor league batting average in 4 seasons. Whether it is with the Cards or some other club (rumor is now that he will be dangled as trade bait if the club is in contention this summer), we expect to see Anderson in Major League Baseball very soon. Good luck Bryan!
