Sola Morales Stadium (Caguas, PR)

Puerto Rico is more densely populated than any US state but that has not prevented residents from setting aside land for over 6000 baseball diamonds on this island the size of Connecticut. Associations and Leagues, not schools, coordinate virtually all the youth baseball played in Puerto Rico. Most teams compete 11 months each year. All associations hold year-end tournaments that take place near the end of the summer. Many of the winning teams travel to the US and throughout the Caribbean to represent their homeland. Home to a current generation of Major League stars like Ivan Rodriguez, the Alomar Brothers, Carlos Beltran, Carlos Delgado, Bernie Williams, and Edgar Martinez, Puerto Rico also boasts some of the game’s all-time greats in Orlando Cepeda, Vic Power, Felix Millan, and of course Roberto Clemente.

If you are seeking to test your skills against some of the world’s top amateur talent, there is no better destination than the baseball hotbed of Puerto Rico. Be sure to view the video on the Coast to Coast Puerto Rico program above.

We are pleased to announce that our 2010 groups will again be staying at the one of San Juan's premier hotels, the Embassy Suites Hotel & Casino.
